What Is Inferno Mode? Fast Execution Explained

When a token is newly listed or migrating between liquidity states, price movement in the first seconds can be sharp. Inferno Mode is Padre Terminal's tool for reacting to that window without manually adjusting slippage and gas settings on every single trade.

What Inferno Mode actually changes

In normal trading mode, you set slippage tolerance and priority fees per order, which is fine for regular market conditions but slow when timing matters. Inferno Mode pre-configures an aggressive-but-bounded execution profile — higher priority fees and wider (but capped) slippage tolerance — so a single tap submits the order without the usual per-field adjustment.

It's a trade-off between execution speed and cost per trade — not a way to guarantee a fill or guarantee profit. Faster execution reduces the chance of missing an entry; it doesn't change what happens to the token's price afterward.

When it's worth using

  • New token listings where liquidity is being added in real time and prices are moving quickly.
  • Migrations between liquidity pools, where a short window of volatility is expected.
  • Fast-moving markets generally, where a few seconds of delay meaningfully changes your entry price.

When to leave it off

For most day-to-day trades on established pairs with deep liquidity, standard mode is usually the better default — the wider slippage tolerance in Inferno Mode isn't necessary when price impact is already small, and you'll typically pay a lower priority fee with standard settings.

How to enable it

  1. Open the order panel for the token you're trading.
  2. Toggle "Inferno Mode" above the buy/sell buttons.
  3. Review the pre-set slippage cap — you can still adjust the upper bound before confirming.
  4. Submit the order as usual.
A NOTE ON RISK

Wider slippage tolerance means your order can fill at a noticeably worse price than the quote you saw, especially on thin liquidity. Inferno Mode is a speed tool, not a safety tool — pair it with the position-sizing and research habits covered in our token safety checklist.
